Hey,

My typeface WIM is based on an unused sketch by dutch designer Wim Crouwel, that he later developed further for his New Alphabet. It is a condensed version of Garamond which was translated by a computer. WIM is built on the very grid used by Crouwel, in which the components can only be moved in 24-unit steps. This leads to irregularities within the letters. Modification of the stroke width results in six different weights.

Hi there,

The Editorial Design Project is about Josef Albers’ research on proportion for his Homage to the Square. Inside the book are various texts about the artist’s life. The columns are referencing different widths that were used in the paintings. The dimensions are 10×20cm.

This Flyer was made for a bar in Stuttgart. It is a monthly flyer announcing upcoming events. At the same time it is possible to unfold the paper and use it as a poster. I used the WIM Typeface in all weights, do you like it?

We realized this project using AI, especially Midjourney. It was great fun! In th end we produced this fashion lookbook. It's hard to tell if the images are generated or not, right?
